I worked on a team that was responsible for the deployment of Starbucks new logistics program. The project included integration of Oracle EBS, Oracle delivery scheduling, JDA Manugistics, and JDA Advanced Store Replenishment. I created a new status reporting system to track the implementation for all North America Starbucks direct store delivery suppliers. Managed and lead the direct store delivery meetings with suppliers and Starbucks stakeholders. I also provided techno / functional support and analysis to the logistics and XML development project teams.

 

Safeway Inc. – Pleasanton, CA – August 2009 – February 2010

Software Architect

A software architect role to design and implement flexible spending healthcare Visa and MasterCard debit card support using new Verifone PIN Pad devices. Also worked on the Starbucks, Tully’s, and Jamba Juice gift card authorization for branded Kiosks.  Delivered POS design and documented test scenarios for both offshore development and UAT testing. Organized and managed the PCI certification testing with Elavon, VisaNet, and MasterCard. Attend weekly business meetings as liaison between stakeholders and project team. Delivered design to integrate the Casual Male and Rochester Big & Tall retail banners. I worked with client IT and the finance team to translate the technical and functional needs into requirements. MGM Mirage – Las Vegas, NV – April 2007 – September 2007 – 

ERP software selection and implementation - responsible for the retail ERP conversion plan. Create a detailed plan and approach document for conversion from the existing applications to SAP.  Develop software to merge the application data from the two existing systems into a format suitable for import by the new system.

 

Designed and developed an IBM iSeries XML point of sale (POS) interface to support JDA MMS with the rollout of Epicor Store 6 point of sale application to the resort property retail shops.

 

GUESS Inc. - Los Angeles, CA – February 2007 – March 2007

Retail system upgrade project. Upgrade JDA MMS version 4r5 to version 510. My responsibility was the upgrade of all end-of-day processes. Designed and developed several enhancements to the JDA end-of-day software module. On site problem resolution and support during the go live weekend.     

 

PetSmart Inc. – Phoenix, AZ - September 2006 – January 2007

Team Lead responsible for new Fujitsu POS system and new Verifone PIN Pad rollout project. Review Triversity, RCS, and Fujitsu Request for Proposal documents. RCS DOS to Windows POS application conversion and implementation. Develop SAP article and idocs integration to RCS POS specification and documentation. (PCI) Payment Card audit team to support the Coalfire PCI audit.     

 

Cabela’s Inc. – Sidney, NB – November 2005 – October 2006

Team Lead responsible for 8 designers and developers to deliver all modifications required for Cabela’s multi-channel transformation project. Created flow documents for existing and future processes. I worked on a team to reengineer the process for retail price management including complex package deal price. There were several additional projects that required working with users and managers to translate business needs into requirements.
